Kathy Buckworth is an award winning writer, public speaker, and television personality. She is the author of five books, including “The BlackBerry Diaries: Adventures in Modern Motherhood” and her latest, “Shut Up and Eat:Tales of Chicken, Children & Chardonnay”. Christy Laverty – Parenting on the Go
Christy is a Mom to two girls, wife to a busy artist, freelance writer and radio news editor. A twitter addict when she has free time…which is not often. She is often pondering some of the most difficult questions of the Universe…like why there aren’t enough hours in the day? Anyone have an answer for that one? Dr. Tanya Lee, N.D. – Natural Health
Tanya was drawn to the naturopathic profession for its core beliefs in treating the whole person. This means that she will work with an individual to overcome their health concerns through treatments which strengthen the body. Education and preventative approaches are considered key to successful outcomes. She does not believe in quick fixes and will recommend treatments that are the safest, effective and most fitting to that individual.
Tanya treats a wide variety of health concerns including hormonal (endocrine) disorders, digestive problems, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, sleep and energy problems, just to name a few. During her 1 year internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, Tanya was selected to be on a competitive pediatric shift, increasing her skills, knowledge and exposure to pediatric patients. Since then, she has made the area of pediatrics a special focus in her practice, and treats a number of pediatric-associated conditions. Tanya is certified as Defeat Autism Now! Doctor (Level I), which provides her with extensive training and knowledge in the care of children wtih Autistic Spectrum disorders.
Tanya is currently a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and is licensed to practice and is in good standing under the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy – Naturopathy (BDDT-N), which is currently in transition to join the Regulated Health Practitioners Act (RHPA).
